Ok so I’m a day late with today’s venue spotlight. I hope you all forgive me….
This week Jessica (JCG Events), Travis & I visited the beautiful Palms Hotel. And I do mean beautiful.
The Palms has this old world charm that makes you just want to to sit, relax and forget the world for awhile.
When you first arrive the entrance makes a spectacular impression. I loved the HUGE doors and I thought the outside sitting areas would make a great place for pictures!

If you’re looking for a wedding venue the next place you’re headed is the gazebo area. This gazebo is well known to wedding vendors and very popular with couples. Lots of lush vegetation and beautiful grand entrance (down the stairs, down the aisle) to your ceremony make this location seem almost magical.
Up above the gazebo is a huge patio where couples can host their cocktail hour or even the whole reception. A beautiful wall of glass doors along the north side allow access straight into the ballroom. Open them up and you have a truly indoor/outdoor wedding reception location!
As a photographer I was delighted with the abundance of amazing locations that are everywhere to be found. From the beach, to the boardwalk, to the beautiful beach access gate, and even lots of hideaways inside the inspiration is abundant. Running out of ideas is just not possible!
This natural light relaxation room is where they do the makeup application for weddings. This is a a photographers dream!!
I’ve got a thing for beautiful staircases! Add in some beautiful light and we have a winner, baby!
Awwww….the resident pets! Aren’t they adorable? They talk too!
