Los Angeles Engagement | Babak & Sheena

Sheena: Candice, we are so excited about our engagement session.  We have a very specific idea of EXACLY what we want and how we want it to look.

Me: Uhhhhhh….

Now this kind of comment can be REALLY good…..or REALLY bad.  And my stomach knotted in this horrible little ball.  Why do you ask?  Because I really really really want everyone to LOVE their images.  And when someone has a specific idea I have this horrible fear that I won’t live up to their expectations.  I guess its an artist thing.

Luckily…..this comment was actually REALLY good …..and I once I understood the plan….I couldn’t have been more excited!

Now, if you’ve been following me at all you know that I often travel for engagement sessions.  I love it because its the inspiration of new and exciting places as well as getting to go somewhere that really fits my couple.  So for this session off I went to sunny SoCal to capture the amazing relationship of Babak and Sheena.

This session was done in 3 parts.  Part 1 was in front of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.  Parts 2 and 3 were both done at the absolutely amazing Mr. C Hotel in Beverly Hills.

I hope you love them as much as I do!!!

Ok I just love this set of pictures.  A bit “Mad Men” but modernized.  Actually Babak and Sheena met in a library…..so we just couldn’t resist…..

Ok I just love love love this next image.  The look in Babak’s eyes as we looks at Sheena just has soooo much in it.  This is sexy and romantic in one image

Hello Beverly Hills!

Wasn’t that fun!  I just can’t wait for their upcoming wedding this March!!!

Miami Engagement….or is it?

{Disclaimer: This was written on Friday but the wifi at our hotel was a no-go. }

Since I happen to be in the Caribbean (specifically Jamaica) today to shoot an 11.11.11 wedding…..It reminded me that I hadn’t posted a session I did with the marvelous and wonderful Matt & Stacy.

Since Matt and Stacy didn’t have time to do an engagement session (planning a wedding and finishing med school can screw up your schedule) we decided to do a session later…. a “WOOT, We’re Married and it Totally Rocks!”  session.

Flirting with a stethoscope (that’s called multi-user!) and kissing against a water wall made this session especially fun and sexy.  Not to mention that they brought their “A” game and were looking FIERCE!

Chicago Engagement | Tiffany + Jeff

Hello internet friends.  Well it’s tuesday.  I skipped Monday.  Sorta.  After a whirlwind trip to NYC for a fabulous wedding and some boudoir sessions (how is it we always get far less sleep in NYC?) we came back and celebrated Travis’ birthday!!!! We had a great time and we still have lots of Cakeballers cakeballs left.  mmmmmm…….

Ok so I’ve been wanting to share this session with you for awhile.  But with my crazy-ass schedule I’ve gotten a bit behind on the blogging front.  So without further ado I bring you my awesome, gotta-love-it, slightly retro, rainy Chicago Engagement Session!!!!!  (and the crowd goes wild.)
