Crashing the Miami Wedding Scene

I never expected to be on the cover of a magazine.  I can go back 36 years (well, let’s say 30 years) and never once did the idea of being on the cover of a magazine enter my mind.  So when EventDV Magazine approached Candice and I to do a cover story on relocating our wedding photography and cinematography studio to Miami, it didn’t really sink in right away.

But now the magazine is out .. and there we are .. on the cover.  I think it’s still sinking in, but maybe not.  Either way, it’s pretty freaking cool and the article that Stephen Nathans-Kelly wrote up on our adventure to Miami is out of the park.  We know not everyone has a subscription to EventDV Magazine (why not!?!), so read the EventDV article online and, of course, check out the cover.

So we want to know what you think!  Leave some blog love and let us know your thoughts!

Jamie Reichman - Wow! Just happened upon your blog through a link on DWF. My husband and I also run a photography/cinematography studio (except we have an additional cinematographer on staff), and are about to make the same type of journey (from central Illinois to Atlanta) for pretty much the same reasons- it’s amazing how closely our story follows yours. We are simultaneously exhilarated and terrified. We’ve been planning it for well over a year, but the fear is still very real. It’s encouraging to see someone doing it with such optimism and success! We just sold our house today, and so now we start the serious leg of our search for a property- we are also looking for one space to live/work. Yours is amazing- I hope we are even half as lucky! Grand Opening | Feb 10th

Dun ta da dun dun da da!

The time as finally come! The construction is done, the art is on the walls, the furniture looks great and its time PAAAARTY!

Come one, come all and see our new studio space in Midtown, Miami. There will be yummy food provided by the awesome Toss Catering, amazingly delish cake balls by Kati Cake World, adult beverages provided by Premier Beverage Catering, jammin’ music, the CRAZYBOOTH will be open and providing new facebook profile pics for anyone who wants to jump in.

In addition we will be doing some fantastic giveaways including an engagement session and a boudoir session. This event is open to everyone!

If you are a bride or a wedding vendor please come on over and see what we are all about! If you live or work in Midtown you might as well come meet us, we’re neighbors. And if you are none of that but think we are pretty cool please come and say “HI!”

If you are new to our site and our blog we’d love for you to say hi! We are a Miami Photography + Cinematography team specializing in weddings and boudoir. We love meeting amazing people and love our job!
