Doug & Jill | Engaged

When I hear stories like Doug and Jill’s, it always strikes me as how amazing life is, at how well its all woven together, and when we look back we realize that life had a plan all along.

Doug and Jill met YEARS ago. She hired him to teach. And for years they pretty much just saw each other once a year when he came to teach her people. Until it changed. And suddenly Doug was flying down to Boise alot more than once per year. The Boise airport should have his picture on the wall just for being there so much.:)Their first date was at Angels, in the heart of Boise, so it was fitting that we return there for a fun engagement session.

Stephen + Anna | Engagement Fusion

When you submit an application to work somewhere, you don’t generally have love on the mind.  But then you get the job and sometimes the whole game changes.  You find somebody there.  Somebody you never expected to find there.  Somebody that makes you warm and fuzzy inside.  Somebody that makes you nervous when you’re around them.  Somebody that makes you actually want to come to work every day.

And sometimes you act on that feeling.  You go out on a limb, and you discover that this somebody feels the same way about you.  Life opens up and you feel like nothing can stop you.  Then you get fired.  Fired for finding that somebody.  Fired for acting on that feeling.  Fired for finding love.

Stephen and Anna didn’t let that stop them, though.  They had a good thing and they weren’t going to let it go.  Now they both have someone to sing karaoke with, someone to be silly with, someone to cuddle up with and watch TV with before bed.  In case you’ve never seen it, the engagement fusion we produced for them will show you what it’s like to find that special someone.  Enjoy.

Bret + Emily | Engaged

It sometimes blows my mind what life has in store for us.  It’s the whole “If I knew then what I know now….” thing.  Except even better.

They met at the State Fair.  Invited by mutual friends while he was home on leave, there was an instant connection.  What makes it even better is that this wasn’t the first time they had met.  They had gone to the same high school, walked the same halls, and had some of the same friends.  And yet, little did they know, that years later they would find each other and discover a soul mate.

Yet another example of “opposites attract”.  The country boy meets city girl.  And it’s a perfect match.   People always say that “long distance relationships don’t work”.  But, these two defy the odds.

I can’t wait to capture their beautiful wedding at Shore Lodge in June.  It’s going to be stunning, both visually and emotionally!  I can’t wait.

Their engagement session was held all around Hyde Park.  I loved hanging out with them and they both did a great job trying to forget about the temperature. ☺

When Emily would look away (and Bret thought I wasn’t looking) he would just look at her with this amazingly loving expression.  It was just so obvious how in love he is.  Sigh.

Wow, doesn’t Emily just look amazing?

This is how you get the “real” smiles:)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots!!!!!

Did I mention I really love your boots, Emily?  So if they suddenly went missing they just might have slipped into my closet……just sayin’.

This is the kind of moment I live for!

Ok it was cold.  Look at Bret keeping Emily warm.  That is LOVE!
