It sometimes blows my mind what life has in store for us. It’s the whole “If I knew then what I know now….” thing. Except even better.
They met at the State Fair. Invited by mutual friends while he was home on leave, there was an instant connection. What makes it even better is that this wasn’t the first time they had met. They had gone to the same high school, walked the same halls, and had some of the same friends. And yet, little did they know, that years later they would find each other and discover a soul mate.
Yet another example of “opposites attract”. The country boy meets city girl. And it’s a perfect match. People always say that “long distance relationships don’t work”. But, these two defy the odds.
I can’t wait to capture their beautiful wedding at Shore Lodge in June. It’s going to be stunning, both visually and emotionally! I can’t wait.
Their engagement session was held all around Hyde Park. I loved hanging out with them and they both did a great job trying to forget about the temperature. ☺
When Emily would look away (and Bret thought I wasn’t looking) he would just look at her with this amazingly loving expression. It was just so obvious how in love he is. Sigh.
Wow, doesn’t Emily just look amazing?
This is how you get the “real” smiles
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots!!!!!
Did I mention I really love your boots, Emily? So if they suddenly went missing they just might have slipped into my closet……just sayin’.
This is the kind of moment I live for!
Ok it was cold. Look at Bret keeping Emily warm. That is LOVE!
