One of the best things about what we do is getting to travel and meet different couples and photograph in new places with awesome people. I feel incredibly blessed.
Our time with Marcel & Kirsten was one of those moments in time when I just felt so lucky to be doing what I’m doing. They were a joy to work with, to photograph, to just observe their love. It was incredibly infectious and no matter how tired we were we just had a feeling of happiness and joy to be a part of it.
The wedding was held at the beautiful Deer Ridge Vineyards in Livermore, California, just outside San Francisco. The day was beautiful with soft lighting provided by the sun through the perfect amount of cloud cover.
The bride wore the cutest FAB tea length dress by Dolly Couture with the even more amazing purple Christian Louboutin shoes that made me extremely jealous. If they hadn’t been on her feet they may have mysteriously disappeared at the end of the evening!
The flowers, style, and decor of the day was all FAB-U-LOUSLY designed by the bride herself. In fact the majority was handmade! A vintage feel with wildflower bouquets, candy apples, and purple prints cotton fabric – it all came together perfectly.
Marcel & Kirsten, you guys are the best! I really can’t say enough to express how we really feel. From jumping out of a plane, to your joyful wedding day, to introducing us to your favorite San Francisco pizza and beer, we had the best time ever. Lets do it again soon!
I just love when my couples do the “first look” …. and so do they. It’s a moment just for them. Special and wonderful and emotional and it makes for some amazing pictures!!!

I had the most AWESOME assitant shooter with me in California. Jamie did such an amazing job!!! I wish she could come with me everywhere!!! As I looked through the pictures I found myself jealous at some of the stuff she was able to get from a different angle. Like this next one!
We really wanted Marcel and Kirsten to enjoy their time together so we set up a little picnic in the vineyard!! Couldn’t have been better!!!

Kirsten’s 2 beautiful, gorgeous sisters were her bridesmaids and they all looked amazing. It just blew me away how mom managed to create one daughter of each hair color!!! So FAB!
