I spend a good deal of my time reminding other people how important it is to do professional pictures of their family. Something that lasts forever. To capture them where they are. To not wait for the perfect time or moment but to be in the current moment.
So it was beyond time for me to take my own advice. So I gathered up my whole family, and the wonderful Jennifer Oates from 02 Photography and set out to walk the walk.
What was a bit surprising was how much fun it was to plan and get ready. We planned the colors and outfits, and then us girls got together and did our hair and makeup. It really was quality time.

This isn’t normally my favorite style, but I LOVE this one. Look, all the dogs are looking at the camera with their tongues out!
This one is my favorite of us. I love that our dogs are with us and acting just like themselves. Annie is soaking wet because she loves to swim, and Sam is trying to climb up on my lap.
